Novena to St. Joseph: For Those on the Path of Adoption

March 10-18, 2022

Invoking the intercession of St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, we pray for all whose life stories include adoption. Each day includes short Scriptural passages and prayers and focuses on a different group of people who are involved in the adoption process.

Repeal the Federal Death Penalty

Until recently, Congressional repeal of the federal death penalty was not thought politically viable. But in January 2021, lawmakers introduced The Federal Death Penalty Prohibition Act (H.R. 262/S. 582) which would abolish the federal death penalty.

Now over a year since its introduction, national decision-makers from both sides of the aisle need to hear that ending the federal death penalty is still a top priority. This legislation will need strong bipartisan support in order to pass.

Contact your members of Congress and ask them whether they support federal death penalty abolition:

USCCB Chemical Abortion Fact Sheets

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that it is eliminating some of the safety requirements for chemical abortion under its Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS). The USCCB has created fact sheets providing background information on chemical abortion, safety protocols to protect the mother, and why the abortion lobby opposes the REMS and encourages in-home, mail-order abortion.
